Soccer Game Preview: Southridge vs. Kamiakin

The Southridge Suns will challenge the Kamiakin Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southridge's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Southridge's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chiawana on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Southridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 188th, while Chiawana are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, Kamiakin didn't have quite enough to beat Hanford on Tuesday and fell 3-2. Kamiakin haven't had much luck with Hanford recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Southridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Kamiakin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
