Baseball Recap: Madera South Comes Up Short

Madera South came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Madera Coyotes, falling 9-2. The Stallions haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Madera South saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Casarez, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Madera South now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Madera, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Madera South will challenge Immanuel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Immanuel will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Madera South surely won't give up without a fight. As for Madera, they will face off against Selma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
