Preview: C.E. Murray vs. Branchville
C.E. Murray have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Branchville at Branchville HS at 7:30 PM. C.E. Murray don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
C.E. Murray have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They steamrollered Cross 54-2.the rankings were on C.E. Murray's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result
Meanwhile, Branchville strolled past Cross with points to spare last Friday, taking the match 20-0.
Their wins bumped Branchville to 6-1 and C.E. Murray to 3-3. In C.E. Murray's victory, senior Jamall Gibson rushed for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns and junior Antonio Mcknight rushed for 55 yards and 2 touchdowns. We'll see if Branchville have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
