Basketball Recap: Portland Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Portland Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 59-43 to the Oregon Episcopal Aardvarks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-60 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Portland Adventist Academy lost, don't look at Dane Petersen. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 18 en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Trygg Patchin, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Portland Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Oregon Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
