Volleyball Recap: Seaforth Wins Going Away Against Carrboro

Seaforth's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Carrboro Jaguars.

Seaforth walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-19.

Zach Evans paced Seaforth's offense, picking up nine kills. Evans got some help from Kleber Corzo and his 14 assists. Corzo also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Gabe Gonzalez, racking up six apiece.

Seaforth pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Carrboro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seaforth will welcome NCSSM: Durham at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carrboro, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jordan-Matthews at 5:00 p.m.
