On Friday, everything came up roses for Cabrillo against Millikan as the team secured a 57-25 win.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Marquez's strategy against Elizabeth on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Marquez blew Elizabeth out of the water with a 70-27 final score. The Gladiators pushed the score to 49-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs had little chance of recovering from.

Marquez's win came from a few key players Cabrillo will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Felipe Umanzor, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cravon Charles, who went 5 for 8 en route to 14 points and six rebounds.

Marquez is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points per game. As for Cabrillo, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.
