Jordan was forced to take a big loss against they on Monday, they got the better of them on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Alta Hawks 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Beetdiggers: when they faced off against the Hawks on Monday, they had to take a 13-2 defeat.

MCKAY BRANDE looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jordan saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TALON PETERSEN, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI. GAGE NALDER was another, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Jordan has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Alta, their loss dropped their record down to 18-6.

Jordan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
