Dae'cion Echols Delivers Best Effort of Season
Dae'Cion Echols produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Muncie Central to the win on Friday. Echols rushed for 267 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
Unfortunately for Richmond, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Echols. When Echols last faced the Red Devils back in September of 2023, he rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.

Harrison took down Kokomo on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Jack Gonzalez's performance. Gonzalez did his part (and then some), making six total tackles for the 'W'. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 89-yard run.
Harrison is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Gonzalez and Harrison will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Kokomo Gets a Boost from Pollard in 29-28 Loss
Kokomo had to settle for second on Friday, but Keemarion Pollard sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the defeat, Pollard was still balling out as he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Pollard and Kokomo will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McCutcheon at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st. Pollard will face off against Tyler Brigham, the Mavericks' star rusher. Will the match be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.
