Baseball Game Preview: Narbonne Gauchos vs. Carson Colts

Narbonne is 2-8 against Carson since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Narbonne Gauchos are taking a road trip to face off against the Carson Colts at 3:00 p.m. Narbonne has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Narbonne had taken San Pedro down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. Narbonne came up short against San Pedro, falling 13-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Gauchos have suffered against the Pirates since May 17, 2021.

Meanwhile, Carson fell victim to Banning and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pilots. The Colts' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Carson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joziah Agredano, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Narbonne and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Carson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
