Recap: Central Wisconsin Christian Crusaders vs. Heritage Christian Patriots
The Central Wisconsin Christian Crusaders suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Heritage Christian, falling 81-54. While losing is never fun, Central Wisconsin Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 313th, while Heritage Christian is ranked 55th).
Heritage Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Desmond Jones out in front who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Jones has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Mike Bowen Jr., who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Central Wisconsin Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Heritage Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
Central Wisconsin Christian will head out on the road to take on Valley Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Heritage Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Kenosha Christian Life at 7:15 p.m.
