Softball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Griswold Tigers, falling 18-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Cowboys & Cowgirls' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Griswold, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sidney is set to face off against their familiar foe Fremont-Mills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Griswold will square off against rival Stanton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
