Baseball Recap: Lathrop Takes a Loss

If Lathrop was feeling good fresh off their 19-9 takedown of Livingston on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 13-5 to the Wolves on Thursday. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 19-9.

Lathrop moved to 7-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Livingston, they moved to 4-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Lathrop will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Livingston, they will be taking part in a tournament against Gregori at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
