Laguna Acoma posted their closest win since September 26th on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Rehoboth Christian Lynx 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Hawks: when they faced off against the Lynx two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Laguna Acoma had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 16-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-9.

Christianna Carrillo paced Laguna Acoma's offense, picking up 11 kills. Carrillo got some help from Leila Lorenzo and her 18 assists. Lorenzo also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaeyis Concho, each putting up six.

Laguna Acoma now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Rehoboth Christian, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.

Laguna Acoma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Navajo Pine on the 28th. As for Rehoboth Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Dulce on the 28th.
