Softball Recap: Port Allen Comes Up Short

Port Allen lost against Madison Prep Academy back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Port Allen Pelicans lost 17-0 to Madison Prep Academy. The Pelicans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Port Allen's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Madison Prep Academy, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Port Allen will face off against Northeast at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison Prep Academy, they will be playing at home against Baker at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
