Preview: Walker Wolverines vs. Washington Bulldogs
Walker has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will square off against the Washington Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Walker comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
While Walker couldn't quite beat Cross Keys on Friday, the three-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 40-point loss they were dealt back in December of 2023. Walker fell just short of Cross Keys by a score of 27-24.
Meanwhile, Washington waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 47-31 win over South Atlanta.
Walker bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
