Softball Recap: Bishop Canevin Takes a Loss

Bishop Canevin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Union Area Scotties. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scotties this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 two weeks ago.

Bishop Canevin's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Union Area, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Bishop Canevin will be playing at home against Sewickley Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union Area, they will head out to challenge New Castle at 4:00 p.m. on the 24th.
