Volleyball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Everett was the 3-1 winner over Monroe when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Seagulls came up short against the Bearcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Seagulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-23.

Ava Gonzalez paced Everett's offense, picking up 23 kills. Gonzalez got some help from Ava Urbanozo and her 31 assists. Elsa Breeden controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Everett's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Monroe, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Everett will challenge rival Shorewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Monroe is set to take on their familiar foe Snohomish at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
