Baseball Game Preview: Normal West Wildcats vs. Bloomington Purple Raiders

For the second straight game, Normal West will face off against Bloomington. The Wildcats will host the Purple Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Normal West 3.5, Bloomington 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Wednesday, Normal West came up short against Bloomington and fell 7-4.

The win was the seventh in a row for Bloomington, bringing their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Normal West, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
