Football Recap: Manhasset Comes Up Short at Home Against Division

Manhasset unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 35-17 fall against the Division Blue Dragons on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Indians came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Blue Dragons are ranked 448th).

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manhasset is set to take on their familiar foe Bethpage on Saturday. Meanwhile, Division will square off against rival South Side at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
