Basketball Recap: Cedar Grove-Belgium Takes a Loss

Cedar Grove-Belgium lost against Sheboygan Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cedar Grove-Belgium Rockets fell to the Sheboygan Christian Eagles 61-56. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Rockets came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Eagles are ranked 312th).

This is the second loss in a row for Cedar Grove-Belgium and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Sheboygan Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-10 record.

Cedar Grove-Belgium wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-58 win against Random Lake on the 24th. As for Sheboygan Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-23 loss against Sheboygan Area Lutheran on the 24th.
