Volleyball Game Preview: Flushing Red Devils vs. Bowne Wildcats

After both having extra time off, the Flushing Red Devils and the Bowne Wildcats will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Flushing is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Thursday, Flushing was able to grind out a solid victory over Aviation, taking the game 2-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bowne took on Newcomers two weeks ago. The Wildcats came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0.

Flushing pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bowne, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Flushing beat Bowne 2-0 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
