Basketball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Drops Highest Score of Season Against Speedway

Tri-West Hendricks had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They breezed past the Speedway Sparkplugs to the tune of 86-43. The Bruins' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Tri-West Hendricks to victory were Ryan Miller and Jaxon Paris. Miller went 6-for-8 on his way to 20 points and five assists, while Paris went 8-for-9 en route to 20 points. Miller's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Kellen Dakin was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Tri-West Hendricks was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Speedway lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Drew Matelic, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Bennett, who posted eight points and five rebounds.
