Basketball Recap: West Columbus Falls to West Bladen in First Game of Season

West Columbus had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 66-27 loss at the hands of the West Bladen Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

Jackson Pait was the offensive standout of the game as he posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Tylik McCall, who earned 13 points.

West Bladen has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. West Columbus will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on December 5. As for West Bladen, they will square off against Hoggard at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
