St. Pius X had won five straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 13-6 to make it six. They came out on top against the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

As for Saxony Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Despite the loss, Saxony Lutheran saw an underclassman step up: freshman Samuel Petzoldt had 17 digs and 17 assists.

St. Pius X does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saxony Lutheran, they will face off against Seckman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
