Sunnyslope had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 16-6 to the Perry Pumas. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Sydney Benavidez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Udall, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
