Basketball Recap: Geary Comes Up Short

Geary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Hydro-Eakly Bobcats and fell 71-9. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 418th, while the Bobcats are ranked 184th).

Geary's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Hydro-Eakly, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Geary will face off against Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Geary is facing Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College at the right time seeing as Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Hydro-Eakly, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-47 victory against Hollis on the 15th.
