Volleyball Game Preview: Walpole Timberwolves vs. Natick Redhawks

The Walpole Timberwolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Natick Redhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Walpole didn't have quite enough to beat Weymouth and fell 3-2. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The 3-2 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Walpole lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Natick came up short against Brookline on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Redhawks have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Natick's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Walpole, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
