Basketball Game Preview: Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix vs. Columbia Raiders

The Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix will be taking part in a tournament against the Columbia Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Andrews Osborne Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 33) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Aquinas 50-48.

Meanwhile, Columbia had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 52-40 victory over the Clippers.

Andrews Osborne Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points over those games. As for Columbia, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
