Soccer Recap: West Geauga Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Perry

There's no place like home for West Geauga, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They never let the Perry Pirates get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Tuesday. Ben Mackin was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

With the victory, West Geauga broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3-1. As for Perry, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, West Geauga will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Chagrin Falls at 7:00 p.m. West Geauga's defense better be ready for this one: Chagrin Falls have averaged an impressive 4.5 goals per game this season. As for Perry, they will head out to challenge South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
