Volleyball Game Preview: Morris vs. Sterling Golden Warriors + How To Watch

Morris will head out to square off against the Sterling Golden Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morris will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Morris is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Plano.

Morris relied on the efforts of Alyssa Jepson, who had six digs and five aces, and Brooke Thorson, who had seven assists and four digs. What's more, Jepson posted three assists, the most she's had over her last nine contests.

Meanwhile, Sterling earned a 2-0 win over Freeport on Tuesday.

Sterling easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16.

Morris' record now sits at 29-6. As for Sterling, their record is now 19-15.

Morris was able to grind out a solid victory over Sterling when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Does Morris have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sterling turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
