Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Leigh Anne Strock and Mollie Bartley Lead Strom Thurmond to Victory

Strom Thurmond entered their tilt with Saluda on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Strom Thurmond not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Saluda between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-15.

Leading Strom Thurmond to victory were Mollie Bartley and Leigh Anne Strock. Bartley had eight digs, while Strock had 13 kills and six digs. Strock has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 14 times she's played.

Strom Thurmond was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 8-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Strom Thurmond's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Saluda, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
