Basketball Recap: Parkway Northwest Hoyas vs. TECH Freire Charter Dragons
The Parkway Northwest Hoyas pushed their score all the way to 60 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of TECH Freire Charter. It was the first time this season that Parkway Northwest let down their fans at home.
TECH Freire Charter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Omar Leach out in front who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Zymear Hashim, who scored 20 points.
Parkway Northwest's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3. As for TECH Freire Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
