Volleyball Recap: Pickford Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Ignace, Pickford was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Engadine Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Pickford's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9-1. As for Engadine, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pickford will challenge rival Rudyard at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Engadine is set to square off against their familiar foe Brimley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
