Marsh Valley is a perfect 6-0 against Bear Lake since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will host the Bears at 3:30 p.m. Marsh Valley is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, Marsh Valley beat South Fremont 7-4.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Bear Lake brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on American Falls with a sharp 11-1 victory on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jack Hulme made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Hulme was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Peter Newton was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dawson Beard, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Bear Lake kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as American Falls only managed one hit.

Marsh Valley's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Bear Lake, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-8.

Marsh Valley took their victory against Bear Lake in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-1 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
