Basketball Game Preview: Middleborough Sachems vs. Rockland Bulldogs

Middleborough and Rockland are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Middleborough Sachems will host the Rockland Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Middleborough will be strutting in after a victory while Rockland will be coming in after a defeat.

Middleborough is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Mashpee with a sharp 76-53 win on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Sachems have posted since February 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Rockland came up short against Silver Lake Regional on Wednesday and fell 59-51.

Rockland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Middleborough, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Middleborough strolled past Rockland when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 78-62. Will Middleborough repeat their success, or does Rockland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
