Baseball Recap: Iowa Comes Up Short

Iowa lost against Sterlington back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Yellowjackets fell 6-3 to the Panthers.

Iowa's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Sterlington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

Iowa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sterlington, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-0 win against D'Arbonne Woods on the 14th.
