Lancaster had won four straight at home, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 15-2 to make it five. They put the hurt on the Canal Winchester Indians with a sharp 23-4 victory. The Golden Gales might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by seven runs or more this season.

As for Canal Winchester, they now have a losing record of 8-9. They haven't had much luck with Lancaster recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

For Canal Winchester's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendal Mccrea, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Looking ahead, Lancaster will host Newark at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Gales' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
