Volleyball Recap: St. Raphael Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Mt. Hope

St. Raphael Academy faced Mt. Hope in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Saints lost 3-0 to the Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-16.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Raphael Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Mt. Hope, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

St. Raphael Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Mt. Pleasant on the 22nd. As for Mt. Hope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Achievement First Providence on the 22nd.
