Softball Recap: Andrews Takes a Loss

After flying high against Woodland on April 15th, Andrews came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Conway Tigers on Wednesday, falling 12-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Yellowjackets, who until this contest were averaging 3.93 runs allowed.

Andrews has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season. As for Conway, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Andrews wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-2 loss against Georgetown on the 1st. As for Conway, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-2 win against Waccamaw on the 1st.
