Basketball Recap: Northside Christian Academy Starts Season with Win on the Road

Northside Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the St Johns Christian School Soldiers with a sharp 54-31 win on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, St Johns Christian School saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jacob Hogg dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds.

Coming up, St Johns Christian School will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Gainesville Christian Community at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northside Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to St Johns Christian School's game: after St Johns Christian School faces off against First Assembly Christian Academy, they'll take on Northside Christian Academy again at 6:30 p.m. on December 12.
