Basketball Recap: Arroyo Valley Takes a Loss

Arroyo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. The game between them and the San Gorgonio Spartans didn't end well, with the Arroyo Valley Hawks falling 53-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-40 last Friday.

Arroyo Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for San Gorgonio, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season.

Arroyo Valley has already played their next match (against Colton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Gorgonio will head out to face off against Kaiser at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
