Basketball Recap: Glen Rose Comes Up Short

Glen Rose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 55-42 to the Atkins Red Devils.

Glen Rose's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Atkins, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Glen Rose wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 86-83 loss against Mt. Vernon-Enola on the 7th. As for Atkins, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-57 defeat against Mayflower on the 7th.
