Grand Valley waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Conneaut Spartans with a sharp 13-2 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won five games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Grand Valley pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Conneaut, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Grand Valley will head out to square off against Bristol at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Conneaut, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
