Basketball Recap: Chattanooga Central Comes Up Short

Chattanooga Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 61-45 to the Cleveland Blue Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 30-24 back in November.

Chattanooga Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cleveland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chattanooga Central and Howard Tech will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Cleveland, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Silverdale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Raiders' defense better be ready for this one: the Seahawks have averaged an impressive 54.2 points per game this season.
