Valle Catholic had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Perryville Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Valle Catholic might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Perryville scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 19-25, 25-20, 27-25.

Hayden Vaeth was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs and three assists.

Valle Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 17-3-1. As for Perryville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15-2 record this season.

Valle Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Valley on the 7th. As for Perryville, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Northwest at 6:00 p.m.
