Baseball Recap: Lyons Comes Up Short

After flying high against Skyline on Monday, Lyons came back down to earth. The Lions fell 5-2 to the Southeast of Saline Trojans on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

Lyons saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Isaac, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Lyons' defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Southeast of Saline, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Lyons by a score of 5-2 later that day.
