Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Sam Strickland stepped things up a notch to give Walton the 'W'. Strickland made 11 total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been hot recently, having posted six or more total tackles the last four times he's played.

Strickland and Walton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marietta at 7:30 p.m. on October 3.
