Soccer Recap: Robertsdale Comes Up Short

Robertsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Daphne Trojans, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Robertsdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th, while Daphne are ranked 19th).

Robertsdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Daphne, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2-2.

Coming up, Robertsdale will challenge Satsuma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Robertsdale will be up against Satsuma's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.27 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Daphne, they will take on Fairhope at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
