Softball Recap: Millis Mohawks vs. Mount Greylock Regional Mounties

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Millis had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 win over the Mount Greylock Regional Mounties. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mohawks as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Mia Vasta was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off 11 hits. Vasta was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
