The Horizon Christian Academy Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Shiloh Hills Christian Challengers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Horizon Christian Academy has eight straight wins, Shiloh Hills Christian has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

In what's become a running theme this season, Horizon Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Fulton Science Academy on the road to the tune of 88-40. With Horizon Christian Academy ahead 56-18 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Horizon Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Hunter Beenken, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds, and Evan Holcombe, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. Beenken has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cooper Johnson, who scored ten points.

Meanwhile, Shiloh Hills Christian pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Unity Christian.

Horizon Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Shiloh Hills Christian, they bumped their record down to 10-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Horizon Christian Academy strolled past Shiloh Hills Christian in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a score of 56-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Horizon Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
